Job Title: Extrusion Crew Member

Position Overview:

The Extrusion Crew Member is responsible for producing aluminum tubing and related products in alignment with customer specifications and demand. As a vital member of the production team, this role involves assisting in the Extrusion department’s processes and various downstream activities while prioritizing safety and collaboration with fellow team members.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Perform multiple roles safely as assigned by the supervisor or department lead, adhering to standard operating instructions (SOI).

- Produce, cut, and stretch extrusion tubing according to customer specifications while following quality guidelines.

- Safely operate hand saws, table saws, stretchers, and other equipment as directed.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.

- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.

- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus, but not required.

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.

•Ability to work overtime as required on short notice.

•History of dependability in the workplace.

•Possesses basic math skills and the ability to read tape measures.
