Job Description
Transform technology into opportunity as a Salesforce Developer with GDIT. We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer capable of working with a software development team to provide enterprise system support. Successful candidate will be expected to provide software expertise in one or more of these areas: Java application integration, java enterprise services on an AWS Platform.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE:
- Front End Skills: Salesforce, Single Page Applications (JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML), jquery, jquery UI
- Back End Skills: REST, Java, JDBC, Oracle Database.
- Build Tools: , git, tactical and strategic improvements to large scale Java products,
- Documented Experience with DevOps, CI/CD Routine
- Documented Experience with Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS)
- Translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks
- Implement the product's lifecycle: Design, development, quality, deployment and maintenance
- Develop and adhere to best-practices for developing applications
- Continuously contribute to team performance improvement and collaboration
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Experience working in an Agile development environments
HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS AND DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE:
- Documented Experience with Amazon Web Services (Lambda, SQS, SNS, etc.)
- Documented Experience with Jenkins,GitHub
- Excellent skills in RDBMS DB Schema design and SQL development
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
- Experience: 10+ years
- Security clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Location: McLean, VA (On Customer Site)
- US Citizenship Required
