Pay Rate: $23.44 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Thur 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and reporting of unusual activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with location policies, while documenting observations and communicating relevant information to supervisors and/or local contacts.
• Support a professional environment by providing directions, assisting with routine inquiries, and reporting maintenance, environmental, and/or security-related issues observed during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
