Requirements

• 2+ years MedSurg or Tele experience
• Solid MedSurg/Tele background

Patient Population

Neuro-focused MedSurg:

• Stroke
• Spine/back surgeries
• Cranial surgeries — usually not assigned to travelers
• Neuro disorders
• Neuro-intervention procedures
• Guillain-Barré
• Myasthenia Gravis
• Seizures
• EEG monitoring
• Neck/nerve-related surgeries

Typical LOS: 2–5 days.

Ratios & Support

• RN ratio: 1:3–4
• CNAs: 1:8
• Charge RN has no patient assignment
• Neuroscience NPs available 24/7
• RT available for CPAP, BiPAP, high-flow, trachs
• No drip titration required

Floating

Yes — travelers are first to float to support all Treasure Valley Med-Surg areas.
