Retail Store Manager Pay and Bonus: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour. In addition to the hourly rate, Retail Store Managers can earn a lucrative monthly bonus contributing to a major portion of their yearly income. Vacation: Employees are granted one week of paid vacation after completing six months of active, full-time service. Sick/Personal: Eligible employees are granted 8 hours after 6 months of employment and 16 hours after each anniversary thereafter (years 2‑5), adjusted in accordance with state/local municipality requirements. Access to the FirstCash Pet Insurance program. Position Summary We are seeking a Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales experience is a plus). A Store Manager will be accountable for day‑to‑day operations, promote a positive and productive environment, lead, coach, and develop store employees, recruit and retain top talent, maximize financial goals, and manage customer relations and satisfaction. The Store Manager will analyze financial statements, drive profitability, ensure inventory and asset protection compliance, and promote the business through internal and external marketing tools. All employees work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. Responsibilities Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues. Monitor and assist in the training of pawnbrokers so their development meets the FirstCash standards. Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company‑prescribed channels. Open and close the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise, and ensure all procedures are followed to protect assets. Ensure asset protection through inventory control, property safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans. Administer store processes and procedures, including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, store systems, and enterprise‑level reporting. Evaluate the store’s financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal‑setting. Ensure that operating standards meet or exceed FirstCash standards. Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to ensure the value and integrity of all loans issued. Complete assigned tasks and training for self‑development as requested. Communicate clearly with employees to ensure they understand the store’s mission and profit objectives. Remain up‑to‑date on product knowledge. Other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Willing and able to perform duties and tasks for extended periods of time, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others. Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified. May be asked to assist a customer on the exterior of the building or retrieve products stored in exterior buildings. Minimum age: 18 years old. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Must be able to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate. Must work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays. Store Managers will work 45+ hours a week; hours are based on business needs and are not guaranteed. Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills. Analytical skills. Cash handling experience is required. Commission Plan Information The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash. Store Managers receive a commission based off the store’s monthly gross profit.
