The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and understand the importance of cleanliness in a Day Habilitation setting.Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of Position:Clean and sanitize classrooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas dailySweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces as neededDisinfect high-touch surfaces and ensure all areas meet health and safety standardsEmpty trash bins and dispose of waste properlyReplenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paperAssist with setup and cleanup for school events or activitiesReport any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate staffFollow cleaning schedules and protocols, including those related to infection controlQualificationsPrevious cleaning experience preferred, especially in a school or childcare setting.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Knowledge of cleaning products and safe usage practices.Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks (e.g., lifting, bending, standing for extended periods)Must pass background checks and meet all health and safety requirements.BenefitsWhat we offer once YOU join our growing family:At Heartshare we offer a comprehensive benefit package based on full-time/part-time status.
