The Wilkes Brentwood, a 100-seat Farm to table restaurant featuring elevated comfort classics, we are seeking a friendly, experienced Prep Cook to join our team!
Our ideal candidate has a passion for all things Farm to table California, thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and takes joy in creating memorable food for the guest's experience. They:
- are hospitable, genuine and positive
- can think fast and have a natural sense of urgency
- are great team players
- are reliable and follow through on their commitment to their work and team
- Have a desire to learn about local produce and how to best to source and prepare it.
Must have availablility Monday-Saturday, mornings/afternoons. Must be a US Citizen or have permanent resident staus.
Basic responsibilities include:
- Following recipes and keeping consistancy with our dishes.
- Completing prep lists.
- Maintaining a deep knowledge of all the ingredients and components of the dishes on our menu.
- Maintaining stock levels and a hyper clean working environment based on health department standards.
