Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Days, 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Every Other Weekend | Holiday Rotation Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/CPU setting with intermediate to advanced patient monitoring
• Perform telemetry monitoring and interpretation as part of ongoing patient assessment
• Perform IV starts and manage IV therapy for assigned patients
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Cerner EMR
• Adhere to unit protocols, dress code (Royal Blue scrubs required, not provided), and facility compliance requirements
• Complete up to 8 hours of non-billable orientation modules via HealthStream prior to start date

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license (must hold valid license prior to start; if pending, proof that the process is underway may be considered)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 3+ years of recent Stepdown/CPU experience
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and IV starts
• Minimal to no requested time off (RTO), particularly around holidays — any RTO must be disclosed at time of submission
• Candidates residing within 31–50 miles of the facility are welcome and will be considered at a local rate; candidates residing less than 30 miles from the facility are not eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR
• Flexibility with scheduling, including holiday coverage
