Make a meaningful impact in early childhood education as a Preschool Paraprofessional, working onsite with young learners in a specialized support role. This contract opportunity extends through June 2027, offering a stable and fulfilling setting where you will assist teachers and provide direct support to preschool students as part of a committed education team.

What we're seeking:

• Current Delaware Paraeducator Permit (must be in hand, not pending; include DEEDS portal screenshot if status is not fully active)
• Experience supporting young children, particularly in a preschool or early childhood environment
• Familiarity with strategies for supporting behavioral needs (BSP/BIPs) is preferred
• Commitment to professionalism in a school-based setting
• Ability to work collaboratively with classroom teachers and other educational professionals
• Willingness to complete required background check/fingerprinting at your own expense ($85 fee)
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Primary responsibilities:

• Provide classroom and individual support to preschool students in alignment with their educational and behavioral plans
• Work alongside lead teachers to implement instructional activities and ensure a positive, engaging environment
• Support students with diverse needs, fostering independence and social-emotional growth
• Assist with documentation, classroom organization, and care routines
• Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and the highest standards in student interaction
