Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive examinations and evaluations of patients experiencing functional limitations due to orthopedic conditions.
• Developing, implementing, and adjusting individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
• Providing detailed consultations to healthcare providers to ensure a seamless continuum of care for each patient.
• Engaging in regular communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to discuss treatment goals and progress.
• Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation of patient treatments, responses, and discharge plans in compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
• Supervising support staff, including Physical Therapy Assistants, to enhance patient care and program effectiveness.
• Participating in community outreach and educational programs to promote health awareness and preventative care strategies.
• Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and departmental planning.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients encompass a diverse range of ages and backgrounds, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. You will play a critical role in devising tailored rehabilitation approaches that consider each patient's unique circumstances, goals, and preferences to promote optimal healing and functionality.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in relevant computer programs and documentation systems.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, home health settings, or community health programs will be highly regarded. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and previous interactions with a diverse patient demographic are also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
