And we’ll be proud to have you on the journey.CL&D, a division of ProMach, has an exciting opportunity for a **Buyer II**based in **Hartland, WI or Rock Hill, SC.** This is a hybrid role, three days in the office and two days at home.At CL&D, you’ll play a key role in ensuring we have the right materials in place to meet customer demand. As a Buyer II, you’ll balance day-to-day purchasing responsibilities with opportunities to improve how we plan, source, and manage inventory. You’ll work closely with internal teams and suppliers to keep operations running efficiently.## **What you’ll do*** You’ll execute purchasing activities to support production, including creating and managing purchase orders based on system demand* You’ll review ERP planning signals and take action to meet both planned and firm demand* You’ll maintain accurate vendor information, pricing, and purchasing data to ensure reliable planning* You’ll monitor supplier performance, including delivery, pricing, and quality, and address issues as they arise* You’ll communicate supply risks, delays, and changes so teams can respond quickly* You’ll partner with Operations and Quality to resolve material issues and support corrective actions* You’ll identify opportunities to improve processes, optimize sourcing, and reduce cost or waste* You may support purchasing for indirect materials and services, including MRO, tooling, facility needs, and equipment* You’ll help resolve invoice discrepancies to ensure accurate and timely payment## **Who you’ll work with*** You’ll collaborate with teams across Operations, Customer Service, Sales, and other internal functions* You’ll work directly with suppliers and vendors that support CL&D’s manufacturing operations## **What we’re looking for*** Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)* 3–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or materials planning in a manufacturing environment* Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and MRP-driven purchasing (Radius experience is a plus)* Experience working with raw materials or technical commodities is a plus* You communicate clearly, stay organized, and follow through* You take ownership, solve problems proactively, and look for ways to improve* You’re adaptable and comfortable managing changing priorities**What’s in it for you?**There's no monopoly on innovative ideas or limits to how far you can advance with our team.
