Commercial Litigation Associate | Orange County

A highly regarded AmLaw 200 law firm with a strong reputation throughout Orange County is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate for its OC office. This is an opportunity to transition to commercial litigation.

Salary Range: $200,000-$260,000+ DOE

Hybrid Schedule - 3 days on-site

 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial litigation matters from initial assessment through resolution.
• Analyze business disputes, contracts, claims, and potential liability.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy.
• Handle discovery, document review, and depositions.
• Represent clients in hearings, arbitration, mediation, and trial.
• Negotiate settlements and advise clients regarding litigation risks and potential outcomes.
• Communicate case strategy, developments, and recommendations to clients.
• Work closely with partners on sophisticated, high-stakes business disputes.

Requirements

1. 1-4 years of civil litigation defense experience.
2. Active California Bar membership and in good standing.
3. Strong academic and professional credentials (Top 50 law school and/or 3.5 GPA+)
