JOB SUMMARY

The Project Manager / Emergency Response Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects related to emergency management, disaster response, and business continuity. This role oversees emergency response operations, ensures compliance with safety regulations, and leads cross‑functional teams to effectively mitigate risks and respond to crises.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in emergency management or equivalent experience working in a relative position. Five plus years in emergency response operations. Leadership and crisis management. Strong knowledge of project coordination, scheduling, financial management and documentation practices. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams. Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) waste codes, manifesting and Land Disposal Restrictions (LDR) preferred. Knowledge of chemicals is preferred. Must be able to meet all physical qualifications per company guidelines. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement. US Passport and TWIC card required. Must be willing to travel to job site locations (domestic and foreign) and work extended hours (weekends and holidays) for emergency response operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan, develop, and implement emergency preparedness and response projects. Lead emergency response during incidents and serve as Incident Commander when needed. Monitor project progress and performance, develop identifying and mitigating risks and issues proactively. Conduct drills and training exercises to improve team readiness. Facilitate communication among project stakeholders, including team members, clients, and senior management. Manage project administration tasks such as reporting, budgeting, resource allocation, and compliance with organizational policies. Coordinate with emergency services and agencies. On‑call availability to support emergency response operations. Must be willing to travel local/globally on short notice and for extended periods for emergency response projects. Other duties as assigned by management.
