Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, providing high-quality meals, and maintaining cleanliness and organization. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, an understanding of food safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menus. Assist in menu planning, ensuring a variety of nutritious options are available. Handle food safely and maintain high standards of hygiene in the kitchen. Perform dishwashing duties, ensuring all kitchenware is cleaned and sanitized promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service. Maintain inventory of food supplies and assist with ordering as necessary. Ensure all equipment is cleaned and maintained properly after use. Skills Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations. Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is highly desirable. Culinary experience with proficiency in knife skills is essential. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work under pressure in a busy environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen.
