As we come together to create the UK’s largest mobile network, you’ll play a central part in shaping how Finance works—making it simpler, smarter and fit for the future. This isn’t just about processes; it’s about building a culture of excellence, continuous improvement and collaboration that leaves a lasting legacy.In this role, you’ll:Lead and inspire a Process Excellence Team, creating an environment where people can do their best work and grow their capabilities.Own and run the end‑to‑end Process Excellence demand process, from triage and prioritisation to capacity planning and delivery.Shape and manage the Finance process landscape, including process architecture, design, documentation, governance and measurement.Plan and deliver a clear Process Excellence roadmap, ensuring initiatives land on time, to cost and to quality.Drive cross‑functional Finance initiatives that remove pain points, unlock value and support the wider Finance Transformation Strategy.Track, report and realise Finance benefits, making sure improvements translate into real, measurable outcomes.Build strong, trusted relationships with Finance Process Owners and senior stakeholders across the business.Champion a digital and continuous improvement mindset, spotting opportunities to do things better and helping Finance lead the way.Use insight and data from dashboards and reporting to tell the story of progress, risks and opportunities.Who you areYou’ll bring line management experience, with a track record of leading and delivering through matrix or global teams.You’ll have hands‑on experience delivering end‑to‑end process improvement, using Lean tools and approaches to drive optimisation, automation and continuous improvement.You’ll be confident in process documentation and governance, with experience of recognised methodologies and tools such as ARIS or Signavio.You’ll communicate clearly and confidently, able to engage and influence people at all levels and across different business areas.You’ll be comfortable applying delivery governance and structure to keep complex initiatives moving efficiently.You may hold (or be working towards) Lean or Six Sigma qualifications, or have experience with SAP Signavio, telecoms, IT or Finance environments—these are a bonus, not a barrier.You’ll be curious, inclusive and open‑minded, with a genuine passion for developing people and improving how things work.Above all, you’ll be excited by the opportunity to help build something new, and proud to play a part in shaping a best‑in‑class network and Finance function for the future.Worried that you don’t meet all the desired criteria exactly?We know that everyone is unique, with multiple aspects to their identity and different experiences behind them.
