Senior Project Manager

Job Summary The Senior Project Manager’s primary duty is to plan, organize and control all resources for the successful execution of a project. The Project Manager manages the contract work from start to finish, including scheduling, cost containment, compliance and client contact. This individual must possess strong organizational, planning, and communication skills. Responsibilities Manage and support a team of Superintendents Instill Safety as a top priority Plan and manage the project schedule Develop and maintain positive working relationships with current clients and create relationships with potential future clients Track and report project progress, budgets and needs Coordinate equipment and staff needs to keep project schedule Attention to detail, ensuring all changes to scope of work are documented and signed off before project completion Manage costs by tracking labor, equipment and materials Manage billing with Project Coordinators to ensure accuracy of invoicing, subcontractors and approval of accounts payable Coordinate efforts and communication with the project owner/general contractor to work toward safe and timely project completion by attending meetings, job walks and other necessary correspondence Qualifications 6-10 years’ experience in highway heavy and/or commercial/industrial construction as a Project Manager Proficiency with civil documents for earthwork and underground utilities Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all Company employees and Clients Desire to help grow and develop careers and mentor other coworkers Attention to detail, ability to see and resolve issues as they arise Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred Experience with HCSS desirable Trimble Business Center knowledge a plus but not required Other Requirements Valid Driver’s License and ability to maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen Working knowledge of agency standards and specifications for construction projects Knowledge of Davis Bacon rules/regulations on Federally funded projects Understanding of Wisconsin and Minnesota DOT/City Specifications Seniority Level Mid-Senior level Employment Type Full-time Job Function Project Management and Information Technology Industries Construction Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Albrightson Excavating Inc by 2x Get notified about new Senior Project Manager jobs in Woodville, WI . #J-18808-Ljbffr
