Registered Nurse - Medical-SurgicalThe Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive patient care in a high acuity Medical-Surgical unit. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of Med-Surg experience, with at least 1 year of travel experience. The RN will be responsible for patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, and collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive patient assessments throughout their hospitalization.Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.Administer medications and monitor patient responses, reporting any adverse reactions.Monitor vital signs and document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes.Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care.Educate patients and families about managing conditions and preparing for discharge.Recognize and respond to emergencies and provide immediate care as necessary.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureMinimum of 2 years nursing experience in a medical-surgical setting.Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience.Current and unencumbered Ohio RN license.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association.ScheduleThis is a full-time position, with straight night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.
