This opportunity is based on a Production Supervisor career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.Job DutiesLead daily warehouse and assembly operations, ensuring throughput, accuracy, and efficiency.Hold daily management meetings to review goals, safety updates, and company initiatives.Promote a safe, compliant, and people-centric workplace, ensuring teammates have the training, tools, and equipment to succeed.Coach, develop, and hold teammates accountable to SOPs, quality standards, and ReturnPro values.Manage scheduling, time, and attendance in Paycom, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Balance quality, productivity, cost, and morale to deliver positive results across assigned programs.Identify and develop talent, including backups for critical roles.Partner cross-functionally with P&C, IT, Transportation, and other departments to resolve challenges and improve workflows.Recommend and implement improvements to production methods, equipment, and processes.Track performance metrics and implement enhancements that drive efficiency and reduce cost.Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED required.Associate degree, technical training, manufacturing coursework, or leadership development training is preferred.Experience RequirementsExperience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, production, or related industrial environment.2 years of experience leading employees, coordinating production activities, or providing day-to-day direction to a production team.Knowledge of production processes, workplace safety, quality standards, and productivity expectations.Strong communication, organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Ability to use basic computer systems, production tracking software, reports, and operational documentation.Ability to lead by example, hold team members accountable, and respond effectively to changing production priorities.Experience with time and attendance systems, working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe practices, proficient in Microsoft office.Must have proven ability to lead, coach, and engage diverse teams.Preferred QualificationsTwo or more years of manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience is preferred.Previous supervisory, team lead, shift lead, or production leadership experience is strongly preferred.Experience with Lean manufacturing, 5S, continuous improvement, production metrics, scheduling, or quality systems is beneficial.Experience coordinating with maintenance, quality, warehouse, engineering, or other operational departments is considered an asset.Individuals who are dependable, proactive, solutions-oriented, and able to motivate a diverse production team are well positioned for success as a Production Supervisor.Physical CapabilitiesAbility to stand and walk throughout production areas for extended periods during the shift.Ability to bend, reach, climb stairs, and move throughout manufacturing or warehouse environments as required.Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 35 pounds.Ability to safely work around production machinery, material handling equipment, noise, and other conditions common to manufacturing environments.Ability to remain active on the production floor while monitoring employees, equipment, safety, quality, and workflow.BenefitsCompetitive Weekly Pay for leaders who know how to keep a shift moving.Comprehensive Benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.Life Insurance and Disability Insurance for added peace of mind.Optional 401(k) Plan to help you prepare for the future.Leadership Opportunities that let you build manufacturing management experience while developing strong production teams."Staffmark is so reliable at helping you find jobs" — Matthew, Staffmark Associate
