About the Role

The Company is in search of an Associate General Counsel to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a key legal advisor, providing support for the development, construction, and operation of large-scale power and digital infrastructure campuses. This role involves close collaboration with operations, asset management, and corporate finance teams, overseeing compliance, and driving efficiency within the legal function. Key responsibilities include managing legal aspects of operational disputes, insurance claims, and contract amendments, as well as supporting capital markets and treasury teams on various transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the energy or infrastructure sector, with experience in project and corporate finance, and a proven track record of building or managing legal operations functions. Applicants for the Associate General Counsel position at the company should have a JD from an accredited law school, an active license to practice in a U.S. state, and a minimum of 7-10 years' of relevant experience, with in-house experience preferred. The role requires a professional with a strong understanding of key project contracts and regulatory requirements in the energy or infrastructure sector, particularly within power generation. The candidate should be adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent communication skills, and be comfortable working within a small legal team. Experience in enhancing and managing legal department infrastructure, as well as a willingness to travel and work in a hybrid model, is also essential.
