We are also a distributor of Siemens Energy engines and generators for a wide range of power generation applications such as combined heat and power, waste to power, prime, and continuous. Our staff accountant is responsible for:

• Reconciling and maintaining assigned general ledger accounts
• Reconciling credit card transactions and uploading them into Business Central
• Assisting with month-end activities, special projects, and other duties as assigned
• Providing backup support to other finance team members as needed
• Ensuring compliance with certificate of insurance (COI) requirements
• Responding to and supporting customer requests for COIs
• Managing web portal email communications; supporting and maintaining customer and vendor portals
• Maintaining compliance with vendor form requirements
• Providing support for bid documentation and bonding requirements
• Recommending and developing strategies to improve service quality and operational efficiency
• Identifying issues and recommending appropriate alternative solutions

Requirements

• Demonstrates alignment with BPS core values
• Bachelor's degree in accounting required
• Experience working with web portals preferred
• Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently
• 1+ years of accounting experience preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Demonstrated accuracy in data entry
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong telephone communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Team-oriented, with the ability to work independently as needed
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, with a commitment to consistent attendance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook); 10-key by touch preferred
• Resourceful, with the ability to use internet search tools effectively

• Represents the company in a positive and professional manner at all times
• Must pass a background check, credit check, and periodic drug screenings
