Perform a variety of diagnostic procedures, including complex modalities using state‑of‑the‑art imaging equipment. Work flexibly within assigned modalities and coordinate procedures to maintain high‑level patient care and continuity. Interact appropriately with patients and all care providers, prioritizing procedures during the workday. Rotate within departments and clinics for coverage as needed. Program the computer after procedures to ensure accurate completion of exams and proper storage of scan data in PACS. Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and comply with infection control standards. Ensure all charges are correctly coded and entered in the billing system. Protect patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and CHRISTUS Physician Group guidelines. Maintain CHRISTUS policies, procedures, and quality assurance practices. Adapt patient assessment and care methods to accommodate diverse needs. Comply with all regulations set by state and federal agencies. Demonstrate adherence to the Core values of CHRISTUS Health. Attend meetings and committees as requested. Perform other duties as assigned. Education / Skills Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or an approved equivalent. Basic computer experience required. Experience 1 year of experience as a radiologic technologist preferred. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications Radiography (R) by ARRT required.
