PUBLIC INFORMATION OFFICER (PART-TIME) – MONTVILLE TOWNSHIP, MORRIS COUNTY The Township of Montville is seeking a public information officer for a part‑time position, up to 15 hours per week. Under the direction of the Township Administrator, the public information officer is responsible for press releases, newsletters, emergency communications, and managing the flow of information between the Township and the public. The public information officer writes about Township activities to keep the public informed and connected. Preferred candidate must have excellent writing skills, computer, verbal, and social media skills. A Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, English or a related field is preferred. Graphic design experience and/or experience in public relations or a similar position within local government is a plus. The candidate must possess a valid NJ driver’s license.
