With more than 70 years of innovation and a 100% employee-owned culture, our engineers have the opportunity to work hands-on with sophisticated products and directly influence how they are designed, built, and supported.You could be just the right applicant for this job Read all associated information and make sure to apply.About the RoleAs a Manufacturing Engineer II, you'll play a key role in bringing new products into production and improving the way our existing precision instruments are built and serviced.This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll work across electrical, mechanical, optical, and software systems to solve manufacturing challenges, troubleshoot complex product issues, improve processes, and ensure our products are designed for manufacturability and long-term serviceability.You'll work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and external suppliers while also serving as a technical resource and mentor to engineers and technicians.What You'll DoOwn and improve manufacturing processes for new and existing productsSupport new product introduction (NPI) from prototype through productionTroubleshoot complex production, calibration, testing, and quality issuesPerform hands-on assembly, calibration, testing, and evaluation of new product prototypesImprove equipment layouts, workflows, assembly methods, tooling, and manufacturing capacityPartner with product development teams to influence design for manufacturability and serviceabilityLead root-cause analysis and implement sustainable process and quality improvementsDevelop and maintain SOPs, BOMs, calibration processes, and technical documentationCollaborate with suppliers on components, designs, and manufacturing processesMentor Manufacturing Engineers and Technicians and serve as a technical resource across the organizationWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceStrong hands-on experience in a xhyhwjd manufacturing, production, or product engineering environmentExperience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and/or electromechanical systemsExperience with 3D CAD modeling (SolidWorks), PCB layout tools (Altium), or similar engineering design softwareStrong root-cause analysis, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skillsExperience with Configuration Management, Change Control, and Quality Management Systems (QMS)Experience developing manufacturing documentation, including SOPs and BOMsERP and MES experience preferredSix Sigma Green Belt or Certified Manufacturing Engineer certification is a plusStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across engineering and manufacturing teams
