The Senior Flex Therapy Center is seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our multidisciplinary team. In this full-time position, you will support our Physical Therapists by implementing individualized care plans and providing essential therapeutic services that facilitate patient recovery. Work Environment

The position is onsite at our hospital facility where teamwork plays a vital role in fostering a supportive atmosphere. Your daily work schedule will be Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Key Responsibilities

• Implement therapy treatment plans created by the supervising Physical Therapist, ensuring adherence to established protocols and best practices.
• Guide, motivate, and assist patients through various therapeutic exercises, helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Accurately document patient progress and responses using our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, ensuring all data is up-to-date and relevant.
• Prepare therapy areas and equipment in advance of patient sessions to create a safe and efficient treatment environment.
• Monitor patient safety during sessions, proactively adjusting treatments as needed to ensure comfort and effectiveness.
• Maintain open and constructive communication with the supervising Physical Therapist and clinical team to provide coordinated patient care.
• Contribute to a positive care experience by fostering an encouraging atmosphere where patients feel motivated and supported.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients at Senior Flex Therapy Center primarily consist of elderly individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. You will play an integral role in addressing the specific needs of this demographic, which often includes mobility challenges and the desire to regain independence. Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in California is required.
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• CPR and BLS certification is preferred to ensure a safe recovery environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting while delivering personalized patient care.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience as a PTA, particularly in an outpatient or hospital setting, is highly regarded.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and best practices for documentation will be beneficial.
