IT Procurement Analyst

Flybridge Staffing is currently searching for an IT Procurement Analyst to join a growing client in the Boca area. This is a contract position with competitive pay, extensions possible, and will work onsite. This person will negotiate contract terms and pricing for IT software licenses, professional services, and hardware purchases. Summary Procures and reviews costs of products and services while ensuring corporate and legal IT hardware and software contract guidelines are followed. Research, compare, and evaluate vendors and suppliers’ products and services based on quality, price, and speed of delivery to make the most compatible selection for the company. Serves as the IT point of contact to develop and implement strategic sourcing and vendor relationships. Responsible for product and service contract procurement, renewals, support, analysis, and negotiations. Performs daily activities associated with IT procurement, including requests for proposals, cost and price analysis, procurement audits, purchase requisitions, orders, invoices, and other contract administration activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Determines IT procurement needs and researches potential suppliers. Keeps abreast of vendor and supplier-related activities in the industry and assists with the identification of business requirements and development of requests for proposals. Acts as a liaison to vendors and suppliers and communicates pricing and performance needs. Documents the features and benefits of products/services and prepares cost-benefit analysis reports. Evaluate and recommend the most cost-effective and efficient means of acquiring IT hardware, software, and services through acquisitions, negotiations, and renewal functions related to IT vendor contracts. This includes but is not limited to surrounding computer equipment, infrastructure, networking/other communication devices, software applications, and IT projects. Ensures all contracts and licenses will cover the potential scope and use of IT hardware, software, and services. Continually reviews and monitors performance to ensure the company is receiving optimal value in service from vendors. Initiates contract modifications when needed to provide the best service. Collaborates with leaders on the IT department budget to ensure budget adherence regarding IT contracts with renewals and renegotiations. Responsible for IT contract management with vendors and partners utilized and maintains contracts/agreements through execution. Coordinates and monitors the status of IT contracts/agreements and invoices with the Finance and Legal departments. Analyzes competitive IT market, evaluates proposals, and participates in negotiations for final, contractual IT agreements. Tracks and reports monthly procurement expenditures and maintains procurement documentation. #J-18808-Ljbffr Flybridge Staffing
