Medical Assistant

PriCare Health is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our growing healthcare team. We provide primary care, acute care, preventive services, laboratory testing, injections, wellness services, and other outpatient treatments in a welcoming and patient-focused environment. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, comfortable working in a fast-paced clinic, and able to provide excellent service to patients from a variety of backgrounds. Primary Responsibilities Greet patients and assist with the check-in and check-out process Obtain and document vital signs, medication lists, allergies, and medical histories Prepare patients and examination rooms for appointments Assist the provider with examinations, procedures, and treatments Perform blood draws, specimen collection, urine testing, and point-of-care testing Administer injections and vaccines under the direction of the provider Perform EKGs, ear lavages, nebulizer treatments, wound care, and other clinical duties as trained Process laboratory orders, referrals, medication requests, and patient messages Schedule appointments and answer incoming telephone calls Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record Clean, disinfect, and restock examination rooms Monitor medical supplies and notify management when supplies need to be ordered Follow HIPAA, OSHA, infection-control, and clinic safety requirements Support daily front-office and administrative operations as needed Qualifications Medical Assistant certification or diploma preferred Previous experience in primary care, urgent care, family medicine, or an outpatient clinic preferred Phlebotomy experience strongly preferred Current BLS certification preferred Strong communication, customer-service, and organizational skills Comfortable using electronic medical records and general office technology Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and professionalism Dependable attendance and reliable transportation Must maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate sound professional judgment Schedule Monday through Thursday: approximately 8 :30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Friday: virtual, administrative, or clinic-support duties as scheduled Some schedule flexibility may be required based on patient volume and clinic needs Compensation and Benefits Up to $22.00 per hour Full-time position Two weeks of paid time off after successful completion of the first 90 days Supportive, team-oriented work environment Opportunity to grow with an expanding medical practice Health insurance is not currently offered #J-18808-Ljbffr Pricare Health PLLC
