Caregiver PM Shift

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

• Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the elderly

• Must have or be willing to get QMAP

• Ability to carry our written and verbal directions and to read and write

• 18 years of age or older

• High School Diploma or GED

• At least 1-year experience providing care to the elderly or persons with disabilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists residents with Activities of Daily Living in accordance with the Resident’s Care Plan and RMAL Policies and Procedures.

• Engage residents with person center care

• Understand, adheres to, and promote RMAL Policies and Procedures.

• Understands adheres to, and promotes Resident Rights

• Performs housekeeping duties throughout the home. Ensures the home is clean and tidy at all times.

• Participates in all required orientation, training, competency, and in-service programs as scheduled and necessary per RMAL Policy.
  

• Documents in the 24-hour communication log, activity log, and MAR prior to leaving every shift in a professional and objective manner.

• Adheres to safe food practices while preparing scheduled meals.

• Performs other tasks instructed by House Manager and/or Wellness Director and in accordance with the Residents and RMAL Policies and Procedures.
