Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse – Alabama

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Dothan, Alabama

Schedule: Night shift with flexible options – choose between 3x12 or 4x12 schedules based on your preference. Block scheduling available. Weekend coverage required. 28 hours of orientation provided.

• Adult to geriatric patient population with a daily census of approximately 35 patients
• Nurse-to-patient ratios up to 1:6-7, providing manageable assignment loads
• Must be proficient in cardiac drips including cardizem, tridil, and amiodarone
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• First-time travelers welcome with minimum one year of experience

Requirements:

• Active Alabama RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum one year of Medical-Surgical or Telemetry nursing experience
• Proficiency in cardiac drips: cardizem, tridil, and amiodarone
• Experience with accessing/managing ports, medication administration, and telemetry monitoring preferred
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility location (radius rule applies)
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
• Pre-start modules required prior to assignment start date
