About This Role The Head Nurse - Mother/Baby position involves directing the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing regimens for patients within the Pediatric Inpatient Unit. This role is ideal for experienced nursing professionals looking to lead and guide nursing personnel in delivering high-quality patient care. Highlights Pay: $116,159/year Location: New York, NY Facility: Bellevue Department/Unit: PEDIATRIC INPATIENT UNIT 8N Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift (7:00 A.M. – 3:30 P.M.) What You'll Do Direct the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing regimens for patients. Schedule, assign, guide, and instruct nursing personnel in nursing activities. Identify and discriminate between physical and psycho-social signs and symptoms. Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate nursing regimens for assigned patients. Record and maintain nursing care plans and progress notes for continuity of care. Interpret and report patient responses to appropriate health team members. Participate in planning comprehensive patient care programs with interdisciplinary teams. Provide teaching, guidance, and direction to allied nursing personnel. Participate in defining and maintaining standards of nursing practice. Conduct conferences to develop nursing care plans and promote staff development. Requirements Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Head Nurse preferred. Licenses & Certifications: Current RN License in New York State. Licenses & Certifications: BLS certification required. Additional Compensation Annual education differential based on degree: Bachelors in allied health discipline = $900 Masters in allied health discipline = $1,200 Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) = $1,800 Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) = $2,000 Doctorate in Education, Nursing Practice or PhD in Nursing (DNP) = $2,500 Annual certification differential ranging from $1,878 up to $4,878 for recognized certifications. Annual nursing experience differential ranging from $1,042 up to $8,645 for up to 10 years of experience.
