As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors, tenants, and team members while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon05:00 PM - 01:00 AMThur07:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Observe and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, access issues, and potential policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly, welcoming retail environment by providing directions, supporting crowd management activities, and documenting incidents and observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
