Key Responsibilities

• Represent municipalities, public entities, and governmental organizations in litigation matters.

• Assist with all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.

• Conduct legal research involving municipal law, public entity liability, and litigation defense matters.

• Draft legal memoranda, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related documents.

• Analyze legal issues and develop practical solutions for public-sector clients.

• Assist with case strategy development and litigation management.

• Participate in court appearances, hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as appropriate.

• Provide legal guidance to public entities regarding compliance and risk management issues.

• Collaborate with attorneys and legal professionals in a fast-paced environment.

• Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and responsive service.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of litigation experience.

• Experience representing public entities or governmental organizations preferred.

• School law experience is a plus.

• Admission to practice law in New Jersey and/or Pennsylvania.
