1st Shift DC Pipe Yard Associate - $22.00 Per Hour

Job Overview Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate. This position is Monday through Friday, 5:00am–1:30pm. Responsibilities Operate heavy motorized material handling equipment in a safe manner Accurately pull and prepare orders for shipment Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material Coordinate the removal and replacement of worn components Effectively put items away and receive them in WMS (Warehouse Management System) Prioritize workload appropriately to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as required Qualifications Background in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory (preferred) Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it General computer proficiency for basic data entry Forklift operator experience is strongly preferred Must work outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions and temperatures Ability to carry objects up to 50lbs by hand and 50lbs or more using equipment Pre‑employment drug and background screening required Benefits Our competitive package includes health, dental, vision, paid time off, life insurance and a 401(k) with company match. Pay and Incentives Starting Pay: $22.00 per hour with the ability to earn a monthly incentive bonus. Pay range: $15.00 – $41.97. This role is bonus or incentive plan eligible. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
