Financial Analyst

Responsibilities Preparing monthly accruals and journal entries Preparing monthly close schedules and variance reports Ensuring monthly close deadlines and responsibilities are met Supporting the monthly outlook and annual budget process Maintaining and updating financial models to reflect current business conditions Reviewing financial statements and performing account reconciliations Analyzing financial statement activity and summarizing for business unit and accounting management Use of AI tools to streamline and automate workflows where possible Assisting with internal and external audit requests, as well as other special projects Helping and coordinating other duties as required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, or a related field Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and meet short deadlines Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and exposure to AI tools Self‑motivated with strong work ethic Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to work overtime required for monthly closing activities Upstream oil and gas experience (desired) SAP and SAC (desired) OneStream (desired) CPA (desired) #J-18808-Ljbffr
