Our client, WorkGenius, is an AI-powered talent and workforce platform. Companies use WorkGenius to find contract talent, hire and pay workers legally in all 50 states and more than 150 countries, and see exactly what they are spending on contract labor. The platform pairs AI matching with experienced human recruiters and delivers screened, ready-to-work candidates in under 48 hours from a pool of more than 500,000 vetted freelancers. WorkGenius works with more than 300 companies, including Coca-Cola, Bloomberg, T-Mobile, Unilever, Uber, and Boeing. The company is founder-led, profitable, backed by private equity, and SOC 2 Type II certified, with 80 employees across offices in New York, Miami, Los Angeles, London, Hamburg, and Berlin, and four staffing agency acquisitions behind it. This is your opportunity to join their business development team in Miami as a Strategic Account Executive. In this role you will pick your own accounts, cold call and email the decision-makers, run the meetings, negotiate the terms, and close the business yourself.

The Responsibilities

• Plan Your Territory and Build Your Own Target Account List
• Cold Call Decision-Makers to Open New Accounts
• Write and Send Your Own Prospecting Emails
• Prospect Through LinkedIn, Apollo.io, Referrals, and Your Own Network
• Call In the Relationships You Already Have and Turn Them Into Pipeline
• Run First Meetings and Discovery Calls
• Sell Talent Sourcing: Screened Contract Talent Delivered in Under 48 Hours Across Engineering, Marketing, and Creative
• Sell EOR/AOR Payrolling: Employer of Record and Agent of Record Services That Let a Client Hire and Pay Workers Anywhere Without Opening a Company There
• Sell VMS Technology: Vendor Management Software That Shows a Company What It Spends on Contract Labor, Which Suppliers It Uses, and Where Its Compliance Risk Sits
• Sell to Senior Buyers in HR, Procurement, Finance, Operations, and Contingent Workforce Management
• Lead with the Buyer's Problem and Position the Right Product Line, Not the Whole Catalog
• Write and Present Proposals
• Negotiate and Close New Clients
• Grow Existing Clients by Selling Them Additional Product Lines
• Work with the Delivery and Product Teams to Scope Solutions and Run Demos
• Travel Regularly to Meet Clients and Prospects Face to Face, Mostly in North America

The Requirements

• Live in or Willing to Relocate to the Miami Area and Work Onsite
• Proven New Business Sales Record in B2B Technology or Services
• Experience Selling Workforce Solutions, Employer of Record or Payrolling, HR Technology, Staffing, or Expert Networks Such as GLG or AlphaSights
• Experience Carrying Your Own Number from First Call Through Signed Contract
• Willing to Cold Call and Cold Email to Open Doors, Every Week
• Relationships You Can Bring With You and Call in Your First Month
• Outstanding Written Outreach - You Write Your Own Emails and They Get Replies
• Working Knowledge of LinkedIn, Apollo.io, and Similar Prospecting Tools
• Experience Selling to Senior and Executive-Level Buyers
• Ability to Sell a Platform with Several Products Rather Than One Service
• Strong Discovery, Presentation, Negotiation, and Closing Skills
• Self-Directed and Comfortable Building a Market from a Standing Start
• Professional Written and Spoken English
• Willing and Able to Travel Regularly

Desired Abilities

• Experience Selling Into the North American Market
• Working Knowledge of the MSP/VMS World, Including Magnit, Allegis, Randstad, Beeline, and Fieldglass, and How Supplier Programs Work
• Experience Selling Employer of Record, Payrolling, or Workforce Compliance Services
• Experience Selling to Mid-Market and Enterprise Companies
