CNC SET UP Operator

CNC Setup Operator 2nd Shift Our client, a manufacturing leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a CNC Setup Operator 2nd Shift to join their team. As a CNC Setup Operator 2nd Shift, you will be part of the Machine Center Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization. Location: Hamilton, OH Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour Shift: 2nd shift: 4pm - 2am (MON-THUR), with overtime possible on Fridays. May need to train on 1st shift: 6am - 4pm. What's the Job? Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills safely and efficiently. Call up programs and set up tooling for CNC machines. Edit CNC lathe programs as necessary to ensure optimal performance. Measure parts and make tool corrections during production runs. Instruct less experienced team members in CNC machine operation and setup. What's Needed? Technical college education or equivalent experience. At least 1 year of experience operating, setting up, and programming CNC mills and manual milling equipment. Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and specifications. Proficiency with gages and measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
