Job Description

Job Summary:
The Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer will perform high-quality ultrasound examinations to assist in diagnostic assessments. They will ensure accurate imaging and compliance with departmental standards to support patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform abdominal, transvaginal, and obstetric ultrasounds with precision and clinical accuracy.
• Operate and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to produce clear, detailed images.
• Follow departmental protocols, including compliance with scheduling and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to interpret and optimize imaging results.
• Maintain equipment, supply inventory, and ensure a sterile environment.
• Complete required documentation and verify technical data for each patient.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RDMS certification with OB and GE ultrasound experience.
• Have a minimum of 1 year of applicable ultrasound experience, including outpatient and high-risk obstetrics.
• Be proficient in EPIC EMR systems and PACS imaging.
• Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, viability, growth, and multiple gestations.
• Possess BLS certification and active state licensure.
• Be flexible to float across clinics as needed and pass all required compliance tests, including EKG.
