Senior Contract Specialist

Senior Contracts SpecialistM Force Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Specialist to support contract development, sourcing initiatives, and supplier management for a growing operations team in Henderson, NV. This Senior Contracts Specialist role is project-oriented and responsible for coordinating the development and execution of contract plans to ensure operational needs are met while minimizing commercial risk and supporting key project milestones.The ideal Senior Contracts Specialist will have strong experience in procurement, contract negotiation, and supplier management within a fast-paced operational environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute contract plans to support operational and project requirementsManage tender processes including RFQs and RFPs and facilitate supplier selectionIdentify and develop suppliers to support commercial and operational needsDraft and prepare contract documentation, letters, memoranda, and reports related to contractual actionsCoordinate proposal evaluations with internal stakeholders and end-user departmentsMaintain and update contract registers to ensure accurate tracking and documentationSupport ongoing contract management activities including award issuance and contract closeoutNegotiate with suppliers to resolve contractual issues and ensure favorable termsEnsure services are procured with the best total cost of ownership, execution timeline, and quality outcomesSupport continuous improvement of sourcing strategies, policies, and procurement guidelinesProvide timely and professional service to internal departments throughout the contract lifecyclePromote safe work practices and consider safety impacts when making procurement decisionsSupport supplier performance improvements and maintain strong vendor relationshipsPerform additional duties as assignedRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)Minimum 5 years of experience in contracts, procurement, or supply chain rolesExperience developing and managing RFQs and RFPsExperience negotiating contracts and resolving contractual conflictsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio)Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skillsPreferred ExperienceExperience using Ariba sourcing or contract management systems or similar procurement toolsExperience supporting large operational or project-based contracting initiativesJob Presented by M Force PartnersM Force Partners is a specialized recruitment partner connecting top-tier talent with leading organizations.
