Position Title: Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis – Loyalty & RevenuePosition SummaryThe Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis – Loyalty & Revenue will serve as a commercial finance partner to JetBlue’s Loyalty and Revenue Management teams. This role will connect analytical insights, business strategy, and financial outcomes by translating complex revenue, loyalty, customer, and cost analyses into actionable forecasts, variance explanations, investment recommendations, and leadership materials. The manager is responsible for overseeing staff that support financial modeling and delivering key processes, including developing presentations for senior management and the Executive Leadership Team. The manager also assists with other ad hoc analysis as requested.Essential ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic guidance and sound business decision support to leaders through proper financial analysis, collaboration and good thinkingAnalyze drivers of Loyalty and Revenue Management performance, including revenue trends, redemption activity, customer behavior, partner economics, forecast assumptions, and investment returnsSynthesize analytical outputs from Loyalty, Revenue, and other Commercial teams; assess business implications, pressure-test assumptions, and translate findings into financial forecasts, business cases, and executive-ready narrativesOwn recurring FP&A processes for supported Commercial areas, including monthly close support, variance analysis, forecast updates, budget planning, OpEx tracking, CapEx tracking, and performance reportingPromote communication and collaboration within Commercial teams and other workgroups, (e.g., Accounting and IT)Perform ad hoc analysis requested by senior managementTake a significant role in the development of Crewmembers to support their engagement, growth, goal achievement and developmentOther duties as assignedMinimum Experience and QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Accounting, a quantitative field, or another related area; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experienceFive (5) years of experience in Finance, Commercial, Revenue Management, Loyalty, Analytics, Consulting, or a related quantitative roleTwo (2) years of experience writing complex SQL queries (e.g., Snowflake)Experience performing financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, or business-case developmentStrong analytical skills, including ability to evaluate large datasets, identify key business drivers, pressure-test assumptions, and communicate implications clearly.Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Tableau, Python, Snowflake, or similar analytical toolsAbility to communicate complex concepts clearly to stakeholdersAbility to interact daily with people at different levels within the organization, including developing and maintaining ongoing relationshipsDemonstrated ability to manage recurring processes while also supporting strategic analysisAvailable for occasional overnight travel (10%)Must pass a pre-employment drug testMust be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is locatedAuthorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorshipPreferred Experience and QualificationsMaster’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Accounting, or a quantitative fieldAdvanced SQL, Python, Tableau, or data visualization experienceExperience supporting Loyalty, Revenue Management, Commercial, airline, travel, subscription, marketplace, or customer economics functionsProviding high-quality customer service in a matrix structure with a commitment to meeting or exceeding expectationsCrewmember Expectations: Regular attendance and punctualityPotential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-noticeAble to maintain a professional appearanceWhen working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraftMust be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and FunMust fulfill safety accountabilities as prescribed by JetBlue’s Safety Management SystemPromote JetBlue’s #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue’s Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and behavioral standardsIdentify safety and/or security concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue’s confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR))Responsible for adhering to all applicable laws, regulations (FAA, OSHA, DOT, etc.) and Company policies, procedures and risk controlsUphold JetBlue’s safety performance metric goals and understand how they relate to their duties and responsibilitiesThe use of ChatGPT or any other automated tool during the interview process will disqualify a candidate from being considered for the position.Equipment:Computer and other office equipmentWork Environment:Traditional office environmentPhysical Effort: Generally not required, or up to 10 pounds occasionally, 0 pounds frequently (Sedentary)Compensation: The base pay range for this position is between $114,000.00 and $170,000.00 per year.
