Accounts Payable Specialist

Base pay range $30.00/hr - $38.00/hr Location Golden Valley, MN (This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence in MN weekly – only local residents of Minnesota and Western Wisconsin will be eligible for consideration) Compensation $30-$38/hr Job Description Join a collaborative and growing team where your attention to detail and problem‑solving skills will make an impact every day. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast‑paced environment, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in managing full‑cycle accounts payable processes from invoice entry through payment and reconciliation. Responsibilities Review, code, and enter invoices to the correct general ledger accounts. Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper three‑way matching with purchase orders and receiving documentation. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in partnership with purchasing, operations, and vendors. Perform Goods Received Not Invoiced (GRNI) reconciliations. Prepare and execute weekly payment runs via check, ACH, and wire transfer. Support month‑end close by preparing accruals and assisting with reconciliations. Maintain up‑to‑date vendor files and assist with onboarding new suppliers. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls. Contribute to special projects and process improvement initiatives within the AP function. Requirements 2–4 years of full‑cycle accounts payable experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Solid understanding of three‑way matching, purchase order workflows, and GRNI reconciliation. Experience with ERP systems (SAP highly preferred). Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel. Strong accuracy, organization, and multitasking skills. Clear communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments. Why Work with Addison Finance & Accounting?
