Position Overview

Superior Balance Physical Health Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Physical Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is centered around providing exceptional care to patients at our specialized orthopedic outpatient center in Spring Hill, Florida. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their full range of motion and improve their quality of life through personalized treatment plans and evidence-based interventions.

Work Environment

The rehabilitation center offers a supportive and collaborative environment where teamwork and patient-centric care are prioritized. You will be working alongside two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), all committed to the mission of optimizing patient outcomes. Our center is equipped with state-of-the-art tools and technologies that facilitate effective treatment methodologies and outcome tracking.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' physical abilities, goals, and requirements, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a caseload that allows for individualized attention, typically one patient per hour, ensuring quality interactions and targeted therapy.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and specialized exercise protocols, to enhance patients' mobility and strength.
• Develop and implement evidence-based care plans, which may include design and oversight of fitness and wellness programs tailored specifically to each patient's needs.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes accurately.
• Engage with patients to motivate and encourage their commitment to prescribed therapies, reinforcing their capacity to improve functionality.
• Collaborate actively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care, participating in multidisciplinary meetings when necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention and lifestyle modifications that promote overall health and wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center primarily serves patients with orthopedic concerns, including but not limited to post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse demographic, from active seniors to athletes requiring specialized recovery protocols. The focus remains on restoring mobility and function to improve each patient's quality of life, with an emphasis on minimizing reliance on medications and exploring alternative treatment paths.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A clean professional record, free from disciplinary actions or license violations.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and thorough background in developing effective exercise programs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to streamline patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
• Experience implementing evidence-based treatments and monitoring rehabilitation outcomes.
• A track record of successfully motivating and guiding patients through their therapy journeys.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.
