Lab Supervisor - Women's Health/Genetics

Labcorp seeks a Genomics Data Analyst Supervisor to lead a team analyzing molecular testing data in Durham, NC. The role oversees genomic data interpretation from NGS, Sanger, and MLPA assays while ensuring regulatory compliance and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise data analysis personnel and provide day-to-day leadership and guidance
• Review genomics data from NGS, Sanger, and MLPA assays for quality and procedural adherence
• Ensure staff compliance with regulatory, quality, safety, and departmental requirements
• Investigate troubleshooting activities and implement process improvements and corrective actions
• Support validation of new test methods, instrumentation, reagents, and maintain standard operating procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemical or biological science, clinical laboratory science, or medical technology
• 5+ years clinical laboratory testing experience
• 1+ year molecular clinical laboratory testing experience
• Strong knowledge of CLIA, CAP, and relevant state regulations
• Experience in high-volume laboratory environment
• Proficiency with laboratory information systems and computers
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
