Senior Data Science Manager, Predictive Analytics & AI - US Commercial

Senior Data Science Manager leading predictive analytics and AI initiatives for Biogen's U.S. Commercial organization. Develops machine learning solutions to drive decision-making across patient populations, healthcare providers, and commercial strategies. Reports to Director of Predictive Sciences in hybrid Cambridge, MA role.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate machine learning and predictive analytics solutions for U.S. Commercial functions
- Build predictive models for patient identification, segmentation, treatment initiation, adherence, and provider engagement
- Integrate claims, EHR, specialty pharmacy, and commercial data to uncover access and engagement opportunities
- Translate analytical findings into evidence-based business strategies with cross-functional partners
- Manage external vendors and consulting partners while fostering innovation and technical excellence
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years quantitative experience, or Master's with 3+ years in data science, computer science, statistics, or related field
- 3+ years supporting U.S. Commercial in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
- Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, and Power BI
- Expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical data sources (IQVIA, Symphony Health, Veeva, Komodo, claims, EHR)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Compensation: $142,000-$190,000 base
