This individual can be based in any of our U.S. offices and will play a leading role in sourcing, structuring, and executing private real estate debt investments across Oaktree’s real estate debt strategy.The successful candidate will be market-facing with deep relationships across real estate owner/operators, brokers, and financial institutions. The role requires a proven ability to generate proprietary deal flow, structure complex transactions, and partner with internal investment teams to deliver attractive investment opportunities to Oaktree’s funds.This professional will strengthen strategic lending relationships and drive underwriting across real estate debt strategies.Key Responsibilities:Origination & Market CoverageOriginate and source private real estate debt investment opportunities across property sectors and capital structures, with a particular focus on first mortgage origination across multifamily, industrial, student housing, and self-storage.Develop and maintain deep relationships with real estate sponsors, developers, brokers, and capital markets participants.Generate proprietary deal flow and expand Oaktree’s origination pipeline across key U.S. markets.
