The psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric care for patients across inpatient units and emergency department consultations during day shifts with call coverage requirements. Clinical duties include conducting psychiatric evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and managing medications for patients requiring acute psychiatric intervention, partial hospitalization programming, and emergency consultations. The clinician will maintain detailed documentation and collaborate with facility staff to ensure effective care delivery for patients of all ages requiring psychiatric services. Board certification and prescriptive authority are required for this position with Texas medical licensure or active LOQ status.
