JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Internal Medicine - Faculty/Specialist • Job Type: Permanent • Location: Dallas, TX • Service Setting: Outpatient • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing • Work Schedule: TBD; Days PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adults • Patient Volume: TBD • Case Mix: Adult primary care, population health, health equity, and value-based care DUTIES (Teaching & Educational Leadership)• Faculty for the Internal Medicine Health Equity Track • Supervise Internal Medicine residents • Clinical teaching in Primary care, Population health, Value-based care, Health equity-focused practice • Teach residents to integrate in social determinants of health, community-engaged care approaches, equity-centered clinical decision making • Participate in journal clubs, lecture series, case conferences, resident workshop • Mentor residents in quality improvement initiatives, health equity research, scholarly activities/projects • Collaborate with residency and program leadership to develop and improve curriculum • Provide formative and summative feedback to residents to support professional growth FACILITY INFORMATION • Multidisciplinary team including care managers, pharmacists, social workers, behavioral health specialists, and community partners COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Competitive salary based on experience and training • Full-time employed faculty opportunity • Professional growth and leadership development opportunities • Academic teaching and resident mentorship environment • Participation in population health and quality improvement initiatives • Comprehensive benefits package offered JOB REQUIREMENTS • Active TX Medical License or willing to obtain • BC/BE • At least one professional reference within the last 24 months • Experience in medical education, health equity, population health, or value-based care (highly preferred)• Completion of an ACGME or AMA-approved residency program • Clean Record (highly preferred)
