Quality Control Inspector

Job Title : FAA - Quality Inspector

Location : Oro Valley, AZ 85755

Duration : Direct Hire/FTE

Pay Rate : $23/HR On W2 + Full Benefits.

Responsibilities:

Conducts inspections of products, materials, and components at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with established quality standards

Participates in gathering statistical data from product and processes

Performs visual inspections of soldered connections, mechanical inspections of electronic and electro- mechanical assemblies and subassemblies

Visual inspections of soldered assemblies to IPC-A-610 standards, and harness assemblies.

Prepares and completes all necessary documentation for reporting acceptance/rejection of inspected and/or tested items

Identifies design, process or other inefficiencies and reports quality concerns and issues

Maintains Inspection records

Creates & reviews First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) IAW AS9102

Education & Experience:

Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent

Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships, or the equivalent experience in related field beneficial. Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience (Aerospace and Electronics environments preferred). Ability to follow established job instructions and procedures with minimal supervision

Able to apply a systematic QA approach while using existing procedures to solve a range of technical issues

Skilled at using measuring equipment as prescribed by job assignment

Must have knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, assembly drawings, parts lists, workmanship standards, standard inspection procedures, wiring diagrams and be able to add tolerances using decimals, etc. Technical knowledge of Aerospace standards for First Article Inspection Reports, AS9102

Must be able to interpret and follow written and verbal instructions, including engineering drawings, charts, diagrams, and sketches
