Battery Recycling Technician

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $19

Position Summary:
The Battery Recycling Technician safely disassembles, sorts, and processes EV batteries for recycling in a warehouse environment. This role requires following strict safety procedures while meeting daily production goals.

Responsibilities:

• Sort, disassemble, and process EV batteries.
• Operate recycling equipment, including shredders and saws.
• Inspect and maintain equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures, SOPs, and environmental regulations.
• Meet daily production goals.
• Assist with shipping, inventory, and forklift duties as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Up to 2 years of warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial experience preferred.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to pass a medical evaluation and respirator (PAPR) fit test.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 65 lbs. individually.
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse.
• Must wear required PPE, including a Tyvek suit and PAPR respirator.
