Controller – Full-Time | Woodsville, NH

We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead the financial operations of its Critical Access Hospital. This leadership role oversees accounting, payroll, accounts payable, financial reporting, budgeting, audits, and regulatory compliance while supporting the hospital’s financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounting, payroll, and accounts payable teams
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
• Coordinate external audits and regulatory reporting
• Oversee Medicare Cost Reports, DSH audits, and Form 990 filings
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field
• Hospital finance/accounting experience required
• Experience with financial reporting, audits, and regulatory compliance
• Prior leadership experience preferred
• Critical Access Hospital experience is a plus
