YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare made-from-scratch dishes according to Belmont Village recipes, specifications and quality standards

• Execute an extensive made-to-order, restaurant-style menu, efficiently preparing multiple orders while managing cook times and maintaining consistency

• Follow recipes and established standards for portioning, preparation and plate presentation

• Execute Chef-created menus for special events and dining experiences, maintaining established standards for quality and presentation

• Maintain a clean, organized and well-stocked kitchen while following food safety regulations, sanitation standards, checklists and company procedures

• Make hospitality, quality and resident satisfaction a priority in every meal and dining experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude

• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English

• Minimum of 6 months Line Cook experience in a high volume restaurant setting

• Proven success with basic to intermediate Culinary skills such as knife handling, accurate measurements and cooking methods

• Ability to work assigned shifts including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed

• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community

• Offers of employment are contingent upon completion of applicable post-offer pre-employment screenings, which may include a job-related background check, drug screening, physical examination, and TB testing, consistent with applicable laws.
