About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Academic Affairs to provide strategic leadership and operational excellence in a dynamic, student-centered environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and sustaining a comprehensive Academic Master Plan, fostering strong community partnerships, and ensuring the relevance and quality of academic programs. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in multi-campus and district-level academic environments, adept at navigating complex organizational structures. The Vice President will also be tasked with enhancing shared governance, talent development, and promoting a learning and community-centered culture. The ideal candidate will be a transparent, collaborative, and bridge-building leader, committed to shared governance and the core principles of the professoriate. They should be adept at strategic enrollment management, advocating for a learning-centered philosophy, and building robust academic and workforce pathways. Essential functions include fiscal stewardship, data-informed decision-making, and a strong focus on student achievement and equitable access. The role demands a leader who is technologically forward-thinking, particularly in the ethical integration of emerging tools, and who is dedicated to long-term institutional growth and the mission of the college. A Master's degree is required, with a preference for a doctorate, and a background in academic leadership and teaching.
